Hello H.A.F, This is Raven, and I am going to tell you the official rules of the site. Bear in mind that if you break rules, there will be consequences.

The Official Rules:

GENERAL POLITENESS

- A "Thank You" or add Positive Reputation if a post has been helpful to you, is good manners on this site.

- Please Post in the correct forums.

- Racist Talk or Ideas are not allowed.

- Please don't use all CAPS in your post, it looks offensive and is the net's equivalent of SHOUTING!.

- Please help out others, especially new members.

- Use the Search function before making a post to ensure there are no duplicate posts

- If you have a problem with another member of this community, use the Personal Message (PM) button to tell a staff member (Administrators & Moderators) about the situation and we will try to solve it.

- No advertising allowed! This also includes hosting and all product offers.


Multiple accounts

Forum members are asked to register only one user account. Registering multiple accounts is not allowed. Sharing accounts is not allowed. Forums members registering more than one user profile will have all their accounts Permanently Banned.


Signatures

Forums users are asked to keep their signatures to a reasonable size – the rules are:

- Font sizes above size of Large and over are not allowed. Please note that blank lines count.

- Please keep the images in your sig a reasonable size

- Advertising and Harmful content are not allowed.

- No Outside Links in the Sign, even if they are hidden with the image.

- No crude or offensive language/images are not allowed. No pornographic or sexually suggestive language or images is allowed anywhere on the forum.

- Any material unsuitable for younger viewers must put a PG code in their thread title. Example: *A new post!*(PG-13) you can not have any material over PG-16.

- No links to other sites, especially Warez Sites.

- The Max. amount of images allowed in a signature is 4.


WARNING SYSTEM

- These can be earned by breaking any of the above rules.

- Warnings are issued for a fixed period of time - then they can be removed.

- Further bad behavior during a warning period risks a ban.


Ways to get a WARNING or a BAN:

- Arguing with a MOD/ADMIN. They have the warning and ban button's, you don't (50% Warning)

- Swearing and cursing - there's no need for it so please don't.(30% Warning per curse word, varies depending on the way it was used)

- Advertising other sites & Forums is sigs. (20% Warning)

- Link stealing (automatic ban!).

-PM Spam (proof is needed) (Screenshot).

-Flame wars (both people involved will receive a 20% warning).

-Racist Talk or Ideas (90% warning).

- Moaning about a particular upload site, or file hosting service.(10-40% warning, if done again, ban)

- Posting links to harmful files, such as brickers of viruses. (immediate permanent ban)


Security

- When a hacker attempts to hack a password it is impossible for them to hack it if you follow all our advice. A typical hack is called a dictionary hack, the hacker attempts every word possible. This includes words with letters changed to number for example p4ssword.

Things NOT to do when picking a password

- Use a dictionary word, for example the word oranges, this will be easily hacked.

- Use a password which is the same as your username. For example the
username is admin and password is admin.

- Use an easily guessed password, for example your name (first and/or last), DOB, where you live etc.

- Put password as the password, come on guys! In 2008 password is STILL the most used password across the web!

- Use common passwords, these include, password, 123456, qwerty, abc123, monkey, password 1 etc... These are the first tried words by a hacker!


Things to DO when picking a password

- Use a random password which has no meaning to you, not a short password like g5s but use a long one, all of our passwords are over 6 characters long.

- Use letters, numbers and symbols.

- Use both Lower case and Upper case.

- Do not use the same password for everything.

- An example of a perfect password would be G6s%^'#)0g. Yes it is hard to remember but it is better than losing your account! Write it down, or use firefox or chrome which stores passwords for you.

- Even if you do forget click 'forgot password' and it will be emailed to you!

We are not trying to scare any of you, the majority of you are unaffected by this however if your password does have some of our, 'what not to do', then change it today and keep your account safe! Do not waste all your hard work because you are too lazy to think of a good password.
